BIOGRAPHY

Bernth is an Austrian guitarist, composer, session musician, and content creator whose playing spans metal to cinematic soundtrack work. He has contributed guitar solos to four platinum-certified albums and earned two gold awards for his soundtrack compositions. A graduate with honors from the Vienna Music Institute, Bernth began his professional career touring extensively across Europe, the USA, Canada, and Latin America with Austrian extreme metal band Belphegor.
In 2015, he joined chart-topping pop/rock group Seiler und Speer, recording guitar solos and overdubs for multiple hit albums and singles. Performance highlights include headlining Vienna's legendary Donauinselfest in 2016 for an audience of over 120,000, and in July 2025, becoming the first Austrian band to sell out Vienna's 50,000-capacity Ernst Happel Stadium.
In 2025, Bernth relocated to Los Angeles to be closer to his largest fanbase and to collaborate with leading artists in the U.S. Just weeks after the move, he performed at the iconic Carnegie Hall in New York City, marking a milestone in his international career.
Bernth launched his YouTube channel in 2018, quickly building an international following for his distinctive, virtuosic playing. He earned YouTube's Silver Creator Award in 2020 and Gold Creator Award in 2023, while also becoming the world's top-earning music creator on Patreon in 2021. His session and live work includes a guest solo with Grammy Award winners Tool at Prague's sold-out O2 Arena in 2022, and a composition for the final season of Netflix's Cobra Kai - a reimagining of the iconic "Canon Rock."
In 2020, he collaborated with David Hasselhoff on the viral single Through the Night, which marked Hasselhoff's metal debut and amassed over 4 million YouTube views within months. The track was later featured on The Joe Rogan Experience.
As a solo artist, Bernth first gained global attention with his instrumental single Farewell, which topped the US iTunes instrumental charts and led to his debut European tour. His subsequent Escape the Internet tours brought together major content creators and sold out venues across Europe, the US, China, South Korea, and Australia, with on-stage collaborations including Charles Berthoud and Ola Englund.
In addition to his recording and touring career, Bernth has become a prominent guitar educator. His acclaimed courses - such as 10 Steps to Modern Shredding and Sweep Picking Masterclass - have been studied by over 50,000 students worldwide, inspiring the next generation of modern guitarists.
