Gregor Bezenšek, also known as SoulGreg Artist is a Slovenian musician, guitarist, composer, singer-songwriter and creative artist with more than 35 years of experience in music.

He studied classical guitar for 14 years and later graduated in jazz guitar. While his formal education was rooted in classical and jazz music, rock music has always been at the heart of his artistic identity and remains the strongest influence on his guitar playing, composition and creative expression.

Throughout his musical journey he has explored a wide variety of styles including classical music, rock, jazz, fusion, progressive music, blues and contemporary guitar-oriented genres, constantly seeking to develop his own artistic voice and unique artistic expression.

As a guitarist, Gregor has been a devoted Ibanez player for many years and has built his musical identity around creativity, expression and artistic authenticity rather than technical perfection alone.

For many years, SoulGreg Artist's primary instruments have been Ibanez JEM guitars, which have become an essential part of his musical identity and artistic expression. His connection to the JEM goes far beyond technical preference. Over time, the instrument has become closely associated with both his visual and musical image. As a unique personal touch, Gregor customized his JEM guitars with Swarovski crystals, creating a distinctive visual signature that audiences frequently recognize and remember.
For Gregor, the JEM is not simply a guitar, but an instrument that has accompanied and inspired a significant part of his musical journey, and he intends to continue building his artistic future around it.

Beyond his work as a guitarist, Gregor has written, recorded and produced numerous original compositions and music projects, combining instrumental music, songwriting, storytelling and multimedia creativity.

In addition to his musical career, Gregor is widely recognized in Slovenia as the founder of the Viljem Julijan Foundation, one of the country's most visible humanitarian initiatives supporting children with rare diseases and their families.
Although music has been a central part of his life for more than three decades, international exposure was never his primary focus. Much of his energy was dedicated to performing, composing, family life, humanitarian work and creative projects in his home country.

Only recently has he begun building an international English-language YouTube platform dedicated to music, guitar culture, creativity and artistic vision, where he shares insights gained through more than 35 years of musical experience. This new international chapter combines his passion for guitar, composition, artistic expression and meaningful communication with a growing global audience.
Gregor admires Ibanez not only for its instruments, but also for the company's long-standing commitment to innovation, individuality and artists who are willing to follow their own creative path.
