James Agudelo

James Agudelo is a Colombian guitarist, solo artist, and music educator who has spent more than 26 years living and breathing rock. He is currently the lead guitarist of Ekhymosis, one of Colombia’s most iconic rock bands, and has performed on some of the country’s biggest stages. Along the way, James has shared the stage with world-class musicians such as legendary bassist Billy Sheehan and Italian vocalist Fabio Lione. He continues to develop his solo career, always looking for new ways to push his playing and musical expression. When he is not onstage, James is the founder of Rock Music Academia, a music school with more than 17 years of experience. For James, the guitar is more than an instrument—it is a way to create, connect, teach, and keep rock alive.
