Riccardo Oliva

Riccardo Oliva is a bass player and producer from Palermo, Italy.
He first began his musical journey as a drummer before transitioning to electric bass and piano.
His influences are rooted primarily in jazz-fusion and electronic music.
In 2017, he became the bass player for SNIPS alongside Matteo Mancuso and Salvatore Lima. He also contributed as co-composer, bassist, and keyboardist for Kawa Nanuk's album Yoshi and in 2020/21, he was co-composer, bassist, and secondary keyboardist for Picaresque by Fool Arcana.
Over the years, he has collaborated with numerous artists, including young accordionist Anatole Muster, Matteo Mancuso, Jack Gardiner, Ze in the Clouds, Davide Shorty, Ada Rovatti, and the duo Twins Not Twins, formed with drummer Gianluca Pellerito.
In March 2023, Riccardo joined Jack Gardiner and Owane on Plini's European tour.
He's currently collaborating with many artists from all over the world, supporting them as a bass player and producer.
