Tony De Gruttola

Guitarist, teacher, producer, composer and arranger. Born in 1974, began his professional activity in 91. Director together with Miky Bianco, as well as pop-rock guitar teacher, at L'Accademia Musicale Lizard Piemonte. Music director, teacher of theory and solfeggio, Pop performing and choir at Gypsy Musical Academy. He plays as a guitarist in numerous Musicals produced by Compagnia della Rancia. He has been guitarist among others for Tosca, Ivan Cattaneo and Eugenio Finardi. Since 2012 he has been guitarist for American singer Cheryl Porter. He is a guitarist for major concerts and events and various Rai and Mediaset programs, such as "SCHERZI A PARTE" on Channel 5 and "KID'S VOICE TOUR" for RTS Switzerland. Author of teaching methods such as "FEELING & TECHNIQUE" for MGB Hal Leonard-Ricordi. Author, composer and co-producer two solo albums entitled "03" and "OUT OF MY VISIONS," sold and appreciated worldwide. In 2019 he co-writes with Miky Bianco the teaching method "ELECTRIC GUITAR" distributed by Crehator. In the spring of 2016 he has the honor of participating as a guitarist in Phil Collins' concerts held in Switzerland and at the prestigious Montreux Festival. He participates in December 2017, as guitarist for singer Cheryl Porter, in the "Vatican Christmas Concert" aired on Channel 5 and broadcast worldwide. In 2019 he arranges and produces together with Daniel Bestonzo the music for the suite dedicated to Pink Floyd for the final of Italians Got Talent aired in prime time on Sky in which he participates as a guitarist. In 2021 he is guitarist and musical director for "The Greatest Showman the Concert.". In 2022, he is music director for the A1 Women's Volleyball Italian Cup Final live on Rai Due. In 2023 he is co-arranger producer, guitarist and musical director of the International Musical "Da Vinci by Lisa". In 2024 he is producer arranger, guitarist and musical director of the International Musical "Michelangelo da Caravaggio-A Rock Musical". Tony De Gruttola is also a testimonial and demonstrator of musical instruments at the most important European fairs and events. For the brands: Ibanez Guitar, Vinteck, Reference cables, Cicognani Engineering, Dogal Strings, Agate Picks, G66/Fractal Audio System. In 2018 and 2019, he participates as a demonstrator at NAMM in Los Angeles.
