GaoFunk

Chinese contemporary music singer-songwriter, producer, guitarist, and music culture advocate. Born in Beijing in the fall of 1986, Pan began studying painting in childhood and was exposed to Western pop and rock music early on. In 2005, he formed the band G-ELEVEN, performing at major domestic and international events and winning multiple competitions, including the Asian Beat Band Contest. His work primarily blends Funk, Rock, Blues, Soul, and R&B with original Chinese pop music.
In 2015, he participated in the recording of Sing My Song (China's version of The Voice). Pan has served as an arranger and producer for numerous film and television soundtracks as well as pop music artists. Over his 20-year career, he has released albums such as Pan Gaofunk & G-ELEVEN, Soul City, Retro Love Story, Thunder, and Panda Funk.
In 2019, he founded the “GAOFUNK” music media channel, dedicated to promoting music culture, and has become one of the most followed celebrity bloggers among Chinese music enthusiasts.
