JB Brubaker is the guitarist and primary songwriter of Lancaster, PA based metal band August Burns Red. Formed in 2003, August Burns Red have become known as pioneers of the modern metalcore genre. They have released ten full length albums, received two grammy nominations for Best Metal Performance, and performed countless shows and tours across the world. Often heralded as one of the most consistent metalcore bands active today, August Burns red have carved out a signature sound that they have stayed true to, while pushing their creative envelope with each new record.

August Burns Red's tenth full-length Season of Surrender sees them craft an album that effortlessly integrates the brutal breakdowns of their classic era with instrumental flourishes. “This album is rooted in traditional August Burns Red and I think it's the heaviest album we've written in a long time,” explains vocalist Jake Luhrs.
