Cédric "Slay" Quéré

Cédric "Slay" Quéré is a French guitarist and vocalist best known as the driving force behind the death metal band Kaldeira. With a fierce stage presence and a raw, uncompromising sound, he helped propel the band’s 2025 album Fournaise to recognition within the underground metal scene. Following a successful tour across France, Slay continues to push Kaldeira forward, currently working on a forthcoming six-track maxi release featuring live recordings and new material. Beyond the stage, he is also dedicated to nurturing the next generation of musicians through the "Métal au Collège" program, where he leads composition workshops supported by Ibanez guitars.
