Pedro Luis Peña

Pedro Luis Peña was born on July 27, 1987. He began his musical career in a Christian mariachi band called Linaje Escogido. At 18, he started the Christian pop-rock band Cielos Abiertos, with whom he has released three albums, leading to tours throughout Central America, the United States, and Spain. He won song of the year awards in Guatemala from the Christian radio station Stereo Vision. Currently, he is the guitarist for the Latin American music project Capitán Eléctrico, with whom he is about to release their second album. He also has a Latin music project featuring salsa, merengue, cumbia, and bachata, with which he performs three to five concerts weekly in bars throughout Guatemala.
