Alex Ménez is a guitarist from Madrid, Spain, whose musical identity is rooted in modern progressive metal and the technical side of contemporary metal. He is the founder of KUBIKA, a project focused on modern progressive metal, combining rhythmic complexity, heavy grooves, and a contemporary sonic approach. In 2026, the band released their debut album, Disorders, marking the beginning of their discography and reflecting the project’s identity and artistic direction.
In addition, he is a member of Strawberry Hardcore, a punk rock / hardcore band known for its direct, fast, and aggressive sound. Within this project, he develops a rawer and more energetic guitar approach, built around powerful riffs and strong stage presence.
