Rui Terruta

Lisbon based guitarist Rui Terruta began his musical journey as the founder of the progressive metalcore band Borderlands. A self-taught musician, he has performed on the stages of Portugal’s biggest national festivals alongside major hip-hop and trap artists. Blending metal intensity with hip-hop, trap, and electronic music, he has forged a distinctive sound that breaks genre boundaries. He is currently working on his debut solo EP, reflecting his modern, fearless approach to the guitar.
