Jonny Wemmenstedt

Jonny Wemmenstedt was born in the "Ghost Town" Falköping, a rainy November day. He picked up the guitar at 11 years old, inspired by his elder brother who was a local guitar hero at that time. Struggling with easier chords in the beginning turned into Kiss and AC/DC songs served and taught by brother Anders. Jonny met Tobias, Nestors lead singer at a sports hall when Tobias played tennis and Jonny wrestled in 1989. They began talking music since Tobias sang in a local band and knew that Jonny played the guitar. They met at Tobias place, trying out some songs of Kiss and Twisted Sister while the plans began to form a band. They asked Mattias, Martin and Marcus to join and since, the lineup is still the same since 1989. With a short break of 27 years they’re now playing big shows all over the world with two albums released since 2022, "Kids in a ghost town" and "Teenage Rebel". Their mission is to restore the glory of rock again.
