Gabriel Moraes

Gabriel Moraes is a Brazilian guitarist, composer, and educator based in Vienna/Austria since 2015. He innovates by bringing the tradition of Brazilian northeastern culture mixed with the freedom of European jazz into his music. As a musician, he has played with important names in Jazz, Brazilian music, and the European/Austrian scene such as Chico César, Vincent Segal, Harold Mabern, Doug Hammond and others. He has performed at major clubs such as Porgy & Bess (AUT), The Dome & The Jazz Cafe (UK) and at festivals all over Europe.
