Simon Eichinger

Simon Eichinger, born in 2000 in Tyrol, is an Austrian guitarist, songwriter and guitar teacher. He started playing at the age of 16 and went on to win the international guitar solo contest "Lockdown Rockdown" in 2020, after only four years of playing. Simon’s style is deeply influenced by John Petrucci, Synyster Gates, John Mayer and Zakk Wylde. His expressive bends and vibrato are a defining feature of his playing. Simon gigs around 150 times per year and has shared the stage with renowned singers such as Jeff Scott Soto, Joe Lynn Turner and Ronnie Romero. Across his social media platforms, Simon has built a combined following of over 300,000 people. His covers of popular guitar solos have gotten tens of millions of views. Simon also writes original music and his debut single "Cherry Cigarettes" has received widespread attention with millions of views.
