Olivier Defives

Olivier discovered the BASS in 1987, and join many new wave, rock and metal bands. He learns the basics on stage in almost all the dark caves and the small clubs in Paris !
In 1998, he meets Tino & Sélène and it's an immediate artistic crush ! All together, they formed JADALLYS and, in almost 20 years on stage together, they recorded 3 albums, a CD/DVD live acoustic they recorded on tour, with Thibault Faucher (now drummer for Monolithe / Nord / KRV / Zealots...). The four of them played more than 200 gigs in France.
In 2015, Olivier joins INNERCHAOS - Bertrand Drecourt's project, and records the 5e album w/ them : "Phase Inversion". Innerchaos is now still active, W/ Bruno Gadiot on drums, but this is only a recording project, 'cause each musician lives thousand miles away from the others.
Since 2015, Olivier plays the bass in the doom death progressive's MONOLITHE. He recorded 5 albums, 1EP plus one autoproducted live CD. Together, they already celebrates their music on stage on 3 different continents and almost all over Europe. They played on the biggest European metal festivals (Brutal Assault, Metal Days, Hellfest, Motocultor...) and had a 5 gigs tour in Japan...
Olivier celebrated his first 30 years of live on the Hellfest's stage in june 2017.
2022 and 2023 will be dedicated to the 20 years of Monolithe : release of limited 5 cd limited box, the 9th album, the 3rd EP, a European and a French Tours, and more surprises to come.
