Nelson Maia

Passionate about the guitar and singing from a very young age, Nelso started to gain interest also in singing in rock and metal and to play electric guitar. The admiration for the melodic and technical quality of guitarists like Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Jason Becker, Yngwie Malmsteen, John Petrucci, Greg Howe. In 2009 he left Portugal to go to France where he became the guitarist of the Belgian power metal band Forsaken Ashes. He then joined the French Heavy Metal band Holy Freaks, Last Prophecy and Edge Of Thorns. Nelso is also the owner of the Rockart music school where he teaches guitar, bass and vocals.
