Kanako Yamamoto

Born on November 8th, 2000 in Tokyo, Kanako Yamamoto began her musical path with Guzheng - a 21 strings plucked zither. She studied Chinese traditional music and later on discovered her true passion for guitar and began exploring different genres like folk, bossa nova and jazz. Inspired by Ted Greene, Lenny Breau, Earl Klugh and many ECM artists, she developed a unique sense of touch in her compositions.
