Markus Gahlen

Markus Gahlen is a German guitarist, vocalist, composer and producer. After achieving a degree in Jazz Guitar at Folkwang Hochschule, Essen (Germany), he founded a production company in Cologne, Germany, specialised in advertising music and brand consultancy. He contributed the music to various critically acclaimed and internationally successful commercials. The song "Everytime“ he composed for a legendary German soft drink brand hit the charts and still receives a lot of airplay. For the last two decades he has worked extensively as a session musician and toured Germany, Austria, and Switzerland with artists like UDO JÜRGENS, ROLAND KAISER, PETER KRAUS, HOWARD CARPENDALE, and HEINO, apart from pursuing a solo career as an acoustic fingerstyle guitarist. His first solo record "Better Now Than Never“ was released in 2010.
