New Jersey's Fit For An Autopsy has quickly risen through the ranks of the American Deathcore scene and have carved out their own place in the genre as one of the most respected new bands. They have shared the stage with other big names in the genre including Suicide Silence, Carnifex, Whitechapel, and The Acacia Strain among many others. Fit For An Autopsy's brand of deathcore is fueled by the band's disapproving view of the corruption and misguiding of current human society, and they do a masterful job portraying this through their music. Describing it as "the perfect score with which to watch the flames rise", Fit For An Autopsy's sound features unique and punishing riffs, blazing guitar leads, gut-wrenching breakdowns and passages of dissonance that have won over fans of the genre since the release of their first EP, 2009's Hell on Earth. In 2011, the band released their first full-length album, The Process of Human Extermination, and 2013 saw the release of their latest effort, Hellbound. The band is currently on tour with Crowbar and Revocation throughout the US and will follow up with a European tour with Thy Art Is Murder and Suicide Silence.
