With roots in black metal along with elements of modern progressive metal, Eldrimner have created a new branch in their genre. Their sound is filled with angst, anger and despair, mixing heavy progressive riffs and melancholic acoustic guitars along with grievous vocals, creating a very emotional and dirty sound. The band released the critically acclaimed EP, "I mitt jag", in 2009 as well as the equally beloved debut album "Inom förloppet av ett liv" in 2012, both of which have established Eldrimner as a welcome new talent in the current metal scene. In 2013, the band released their music video "Undergången" shortly before making their second live appearance at Metaltown. Eldrimner are due to release five new songs later this year which is sure to continue the raw sound already established in their previous works.
