Dan Hauser

Dan Hauser is the bassist of Chicago's resident deathcore giants Veil of Maya. Veil of Maya is one of the leaders of the new movement of technical metal bands in the US, having released 4 for full-length albums, with the latest being 2012's "Eclipse". Veil of Maya's unique approach to the deathcore genre is evident in their chaotic breakdowns, technical riffs, and complex chord passages, all while being played at a frenzied pace, adding altogether to create a sound all their own. They have shared the stage with bands like In Flames, Periphery, After the Burial, Animals as Leaders and many more. They will also be appearing on the 2013 All Stars Tour along with Every Time I Die, Terror and Chelsea Grin.
