Eric Baulenas

Eric Baulenas was born in Barcelona in 1978. He began to play the guitar at age 13, influenced by his father who is also a musician, and by guitar players like Satriani, Vai, Van Halen, Beck, Skolnick, Gilmour, Hendrix, and many more. After first guitar lessons, Eric continued developing his playing by teaching himself until he started studying at the Musicianʼs Workshop School in Barcelona.

During his teenage years, he began to write and record his first compositions. They are a mixture of his
own musical influences; everything from guitar-laden instrumental songs, progressive rock, experimental acoustic and electronic landscapes, as well as extreme metal.

Over the years, Eric has worked with many artists as a guitarist as well as a vocalist, both in the studio
and on stage. However, his main focus has always been on his own original work, currently in the following three musical projects in which he is the composer, guitarist, and vocalist:

MOONLOOP is a Progressive Metal band that have toured extensively in Spain and also have two studio
albums: "Deeply from the Earth"(2012) and "Devocean"(2017). Both albums are released through Listenable Records (Europe) and Chaos Reigns (Japan).

ERIC BAULE is a Progressive Rock project, with a self-released album titled "Revelations Adrift"(2015).

BAULUNA is an experimental/acoustic/electronic duo which has three self-released albums: "Healand"(2013), "Lunacy"(2014), and "Aligned"(2019).
