Paul Ortiz

Paul Ortiz is a talented guitarist/musician from Colchester, UK, and the leader of Chimp Spanner, his ambient/progressive metal project. The music is mixture of various styles, with elements of progressive rock, metal, electronica and a lot of Paul's guitar virtuosity.
This summer, Chimp Spanner embarked on their first US tour, playing alongside Jeff Loomis, The Contortionist, and 7 Horns 7 Eyes. In October they will play at Euroblast Festival in Cologne, Germany, along with several djent and progressive metal bands.
