Sho Hikino

Sho Hikino is a Filipino-Japanese multi-instrumentalist, award-winning music arranger, and sound engineer based in Manila. He is best known as the guitarist of math-rock quartet, AOUI, and alternative metal act, Salamin. Hikino's passion for guitar began at the age of eleven, drawing early inspiration from guitar legends like Paul Gilbert, Nuno Bettencourt, Richie Kotzen, and Greg Howe. He then honed his craft at the University of the Philippines Diliman, majoring in Music. He has also performed as a session guitarist for UDD, Gary Valenciano, Kiana V, Kjwan, Gabba, and more. With a distinct playing style that fuses funky, groove-driven riffs with intricate guitar licks, Hikino's energetic and captivating live performances leaves audiences breathless from any stage he sets afoot.
