HAZUKI

Born in Shimane Prefecture, Japan, Hazuki began studying piano at the age of four. Inspired by the metal music played during lunchtime at her junior high school, she joined band club in high school, where she developed a passion for guitar.

Hazuki is currently the guitarist of KOIAI, a rock band featuring technically accomplished and distinctive female musicians. Combining formidable technique with a strong melodic sensibility, she continues to perform and create music both in Japan and internationally.

Her playing is characterized by heavy tones, intricate technical phrasing, and a uniquely vocal-like approach to melody. Balancing precision with expressiveness, she has earned recognition for a style that is as melodic as it is technically demanding.

She previously played guitar for the all-female metal band NEMOPHILA, performing on stages in Japan and around the world.
