LD303
The Ibanez Layer Delayer is a revolutionary pedal that redefines the possibilities of delay effects. Unlike traditional tape echoes, this innovative device generates 16th notes and triplets delay signals, each with independent volume controls, allowing you to create intricate rhythmic patterns and sonic textures. The TONE and FILTER controls let you sculpt the timbre of your delay signal, from subtle warmth to aggressive distortion. Additionally, the FX loop expands your sonic palette by incorporating external effects into your delay chain. Furthermore, connecting to a PC and using the Layer Delayer App enables control over nearly all parameters, as well as importing/exporting presets and editing global setting. With its groundbreaking features and flexible routing options, the Layer Delayer empowers you to forge your own sonic identity and explore new sonic frontiers. Whether you're a guitarist, bassist, keyboardist, or producer, the Layer Delayer will add a unique dimension to your musical pursuits.

Features
Delay Signal Volumes
The delay time is set to a quarter note, and the pedal generates corresponding 16th note and triplet delay signals. Each delay signal can be independently boosted up to 3dB.
TONE
This effect transitions between three distinct delay types: digital, analog, and tape echo, offering a rich and evolving sonic palette.
FILTER
This effect emulates the classic low-pass ladder filter, a hallmark of Moog® synthesizers. High RESONANCE with adjustable CUTOFF frequency delivers the distinctive, edgy character of the Moog ladder filter. Zero RESONANCE provides a more standard low-pass filter response. (Moog® is a registered trademark of inMusic MMI Acquisition LLC.)
TAIL DECAY
The "Tail" feature allows the delayed signal to persist even after the effect is deactivated. This knob controls the feedback level of the tail, determining how long the delayed signal lingers. Setting the parameter to 0 provides true bypass behavior, instantly silencing the output when the effect is turned off. Conversely, setting the parameter to a high value, typically between 90 and 100, creates a long, sustained trail of the delayed signal, even after the effect has been bypassed.
Auto-panning
One of the primary advantages of stereo-out equipment is the panning feature. The Layer Delayer incorporates 8 distinct auto-panning modes, enabling the delayed signals to sweep dynamically across the stereo field. These modes include left-to-right, right-to-left, and pin-pong panning. Users can further customize the panning effect by selecting between wide and narrow sweep widths for each mode, and by adjusting the overall sweep speed.
MIDI
You can control all of the parameters in the Layer Delayer using MIDI controllers. It also supports MIDI clock message that synchronizes the delay time.
