César Gonin

César Gonin is a versatile musician from Bern, Switzerland, whose musical work ranges from jazz to hip-hop and metal. César is mainly known as the bass player of Breakdown of Sanity, a modern metal band hailing from Switzerland. Their varied catchy sound with heavy breakdowns, led to a big international fanbase. Since their formation in 2007, the band took a DIY approach and released three full-length albums on their own, including their latest masterpiece 'Perception'!
They were featured on the Progression Tour 2014 together with Caliban, The Ghost Inside and The Devil Wears Prada, and performed at all major summer festivals including With Full Force, Impericon, Beachrock and Greenfield. They shared the stage with bands like Parkway Drive, August Burns Red, Emmure, A Day To Remember and Heaven Shall Burn. In 2015 they will hit the road again and play several shows at different summer festivals including Wacken (DE), Mair1 (DE), Summerbreeze (DE) and Gampel (CH), followed by a headlining tour in Europe in September/October.
