"TORCH THE COSMOS"
For this instrument, the concept was to take an iconic metal guitar and re-construct it using actual metal with a few custom touches and a blow torch thrown in on top. The first thing one notices about this RG6 is the cascading color palette running across the Titanium top, which might be mistaken for an intricately composed finish. The method used in creating this colorful effect, however, is actually much more utilitarian. Rather than a fancy finishing process or expensive paint scheme, a blow torch was taken to the Titanium top to create this multi-tonal burnt effect, delivering a powerful and rustic industrial appearance. This process was done all by hand so that the luthier could more effectively control the burn pattern, enabling a more deliberate, less random, final appearance.
