"AKI"
A veritable feast for the eyes, this imaginative SR5, dubbed ‘Aki,’ meaning ‘autumn’ in Japanese, is meant to symbolize the changes of the season with a plethora of colors and tones pulled right from the fall palette. A Tamo Ash top sits atop the body, displaying a frenetic grain pattern that moves between hints of flame and vertical waves. The top blends perfectly with the multi-colored ‘Fallen Leaves’ finish. The combined effect is an assortment of visual motion, almost like leaves breaking free from their branch and slowly floating to the ground. The matching wood pickup covers help preserve thematic continuity across the instrument, and a special Autumn Leaves inlay is prominently displayed at the 12th fret of the Cocobolo fretboard. These features are all compelling in their own right, but working together, they embody an authentic impression of the fall air and gradual change of the seasons.
