Sporting a visual aesthetic that looks like it was heavily influenced by a connoisseur of the world’s finest wines, this luxurious RG will incite an unrestrained desire to shred so hard that the strings melt off the stainless steel-fretted Ebony fingerboard. The rich, well-appointed styling extends well beyond the front of the guitar, all the way around the back. The energetic grain of the Black Limba body cascades from the lower bout all the way up to the neck joint, where it meets the precision-carved, 5-piece Wenge / Purpleheart neck. This instrument embodies straightforward custom shop characteristics, with a visual aesthetic that is clean, direct and 100% authentic RG.

EXQUISITE BLACK LIMBA

Dynamic, fast, and full of motion, the rich grain pattern on this Black Limba body, also called Korina, provides a warm, rich contrast to the energetic look of the front of the guitar. This material is prized for its luxurious appearance and similar tonal profile to Mahogany.

A COMPELLING CONTRAST

Designed for exceptional playing speed and impressive sustain, the Wenge / Purpleheart neck of this RG is not only incredibly comfortable, but also stunningly beautiful. The dark, warm appearance of the Wenge causes the two complementary pieces of Purpleheart to absolutely light up when viewing the back of the instrument.

A BEAUTIFUL BLEND

The subtle effect of the Figured Maple/Resin top of this guitar may be the one of the best examples of how a resin fill doesn’t always have to contrast with natural materials but can be just as effective in augmenting and enhancing the guitar’s beauty.
