Marc Richter

The musical journey of Marc "Micki" Richter began in 1994 when he was inspired by the legendary sounds of bands like Guns N' Roses, Metallica, and Nirvana and discovered playing the guitar for himself. Shortly thereafter, he founded the rock band Crossing Green and took on songwriting, management, and booking. His passion for music led him to Hamburg in 2003, where he successfully finished studies in Pop Music at Hamburg University of Music and Theater coached by Peter Weihe and Jane Camerford, followed by a Sound Engineering training in Munich. In 2005, Marc took the step into self-employment and founded his own music school, the "School of Rock", where he shared his skills and passion with numerous students who benefited from his expertise. With bands like LEAVES' EYES, ATROCITY, LIV KRISTINE, STONE THE CROW, EYES OF SOLACE, DIVERSION, BLACK MOUNT RISE, and as a lead guitarist for TARJA TURUNEN, Marc is on tour worldwide, performing at festivals like Wacken Open Air and 70,000 Tons of Metal. His work as a composer and musician was last recognized in the production of the album "Okkult III" (2023) by ATROCITY, where he was significantly involved in the compositions and recordings. He also contributed numerous compositions to the album "Myths of Fate" (2024) by LEAVES' EYES and again took over the recording of guitars and basses there. In 2024, he became a member of German Rock band EISBRECHER.
