With the guitar held in the playing position, there is a three-way pickup selector switch near the lower edge of the body. Above the switch, closer to the bridge, there are two knobs. The knob closest to the end of the body is the tone knob. The knob closest to the neck is the volume knob. The tone knob also works as a coil tap switch. Pull on the knob to engage the coil tap.
