I received my first guitar at the age of two and a half years old. It was not a toy but a real classical guitar with only four strings and five frets made specially for children who wanted to learn guitar in Japan.
At 12 years old, I listened to Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Mr. Big, Dream Theater, Extreme and Eric Johnson. Two years later, I joined a local band and played covers mainly from Metallica, Jimi Hendrix, Slayer, Sepultura. My second band was called InDescent, a progressive metal band. We did covers of Dream Theater, Symphony X, Steve Vai and Vanden Plas. We started to write our own music and recorded a few songs. InDescent became quite famous in the area we got great reviews for our mini album.
At 20 years old, I was a guitar demonstrator for David Custom Shop at Music Mania in Paris. After many gigs with InDescent, I left the band and started to work on my solo album, writing, arranging, recording and mixing my music. While I was writing music for many different artists, I had the opportunity to join the French progressive rock band Taï Phong as a guitar player for its Japan tour in October 2014. As a sound engineer, I'm actually writing on our seventh Taï Phong album "Dragons of The 7th seas".
