Born in Sardinia, Italy, in 1982, he began playing guitar when he was 6 years old, taking classical guitar lessons for 5 years. At the same time, he began studying electric guitar self-taught.
After graduating from high school, he moved to Milan to attend the Centro Professione Musica music school directed by Franco Mussida of PFM fame where he graduated in 2007 with top grades (10/10).
He began teaching guitar in 2000 and, in 2008, he became a Modern Music Institute (MMI) certified teacher under the scrutiny of Frank Gambale.
From 2002 to 2012, Pietro performed and recorded with several bands and artists playing funk, rock, hip-hop, prog and fusion and he also took part to live-guitar DJ sets.
From 2014 to 2017, Pietro joined Italian band rock Klogr with whom he recorded the "Make Your Stand" EP, a live DVD and the full-length album "Keystone" produced by David Bottrill (Muse, Tool, Placebo, Peter Gabriel, etc.). With Klogr, Pietro toured all of Italy and Europe (supporting bands like Rasmus and Living Dead Lights) to promote their music.
Since 2013, he is working as a session player in studio and on stage for Italian female rock chanteuse and radio presenter Alteria with whom he recordered two albums: "Encore" and "La Vertigine Prima di Saltare"
