Biography

Maycon Bianchi, guitarist and composer, born in the city of São Carlos, São Paulo, Brazil.
Started his activities as a musician in 2002, going through several bands of varied styles: Rock, Metal, MPB, Jazz among others.
Graduated in Conservatório de MPB / Jazz (MEC), is currently a professor and coordinator of the IG & T course at Ad Libitum School of Music, licensed by EM & T (School of Music & Technology) in the city of São Carlos - SP.
Maycon Bianchi had great influences that have shaped his musical personality. Among others, artists such as Yngwie Malmsteen, Jason Becker, Vinnie Moore, Greg Howe, Steve Vai, Steve Morse, Joe Satriani, Frank Gambale and Eric Johnson can be mentioned. In 2011 Maycon Bianchi presents his debut album entitled "Alchemy", which is a work oriented to the instrumental rock style, which has been acclaimed by the critics, and received reviews in renowned magazines such as: Guitar Player Brasil, Link: http://www.guitarplayertv.com.br/?area=materia&colid=12&matid=20 40 Métal Intégral (France), Lords of Metal (Netherlands), Apoch's Metal (USA).
In 2017 Maycon Bianchi releases his second instrumental album titled, "Snake On The Road". Maycon Bianchi is an official endorser of the brands: Ibanez Guitars, Laney Amps and Elixir Strings. A landmark in his musical career was having been invited to participate in the XII Guitar Player Festival that brought together the 10 largest guitar names of the country. In the edition of the GP of January 2011 a review about the festival was released, highlighting his live performance. Another relevant aspect in his career as a musician was to have been invited by EPTV / REDE GLOBO (the biggest TV station of the country), to contribute to the soundtrack to the 60 year DVD of the Esquadrilha da Fumaça in December of 2012, with radical guitar soundtracks. Maycon hosts workshops across the country related to his instrument, plays with several ROCK / METAL / FUSION bands, has also an instrumental Power trio, which makes tributes to great instrumental guitar masters, besides playing his own music.
