Simple and effective, the ART is a classic single-cutaway guitar that was built for modern metal. The mahogany body is capable of producing the warm and heavy tones of yesterday, while the active low-impedance pickups can handle massive volume levels with very little noise. Also within the ART series, ARX takes inspiration from Ibanez’s classic double-cutaway AR guitar, but with a more modern, slimmer body and neck. The double-cutaway affords easy access to the uppermost frets, and a Quik Change III tailpiece enhances the mahogany body’s already powerful sustain.

	Solid as a rock, the Tight-Tune bridge and tailpiece were designed to lock down securely and prevent any kind of wobble or movement. Each saddle is locked into the base plate, and the bridge is anchored by stud bolts into the guitar body. Studs are also locked onto the base plate for maximum transfer of string vibration to the body.

	Ibanez original LoZ pickups have made the active pickup sounds accessible for anyone from starters to professionals. Operated by AA batteries, which are more widely available than traditional 9V batteries.

	ART600’s Auto Trim locking machine heads: the smart design cuts the excess string after you re-string and tune up – no extra cutting tool needed.
